As you can all probably tell, we uploaded a new Christmas-themed layout to the site, we absolutely love the season and we thought the site needed a change of pace with a new layout as the old one had been up for so long already. You’ve been such an inspiration to us and we’re so grateful for everything you do for us and we thank you so much for it. This year, we combined a birthday book for you filled with birthday messages from your fans all over the world compiled onto one single online scrapbook for you. We hope you’ll like it and get to read every story and message that every Walshie has to share with you.

About the Project

Welcome to the 2011 Birthday Project for Kate brought to you by Kate-Walsh.net. This year we’ve decided to compile a book of fan messages and pictures to send to Kate online and we’re looking for submissions from you all. We realize it’s a bit early to be starting this project as it is quite a while away, but since it’s only just gonna the two of us, Link and Riley, who are working on this – we figured we’d need quite a lot of time to compile this all together as well as to have enough time to gather in as many submissions as possible.
So please don’t hesitate to submit your messages to us and we’ll be sure to include you in there. We’ll be sure to post the final outcome perhaps a few days before Kate’s actual birthday on 13th October for you all to view and get a last chance at e-mailing us if there are any errors.
Thanks guys, and we hope you’ll make your submissions soon and we look forward to including them in our project. Don’t forget to tell your friends about this so we can get the word out.

Rules and Guidelines

1. There are no limits as to how much you can write in your message.
2. Please only make positive comments.
3. You don’t have to submit a picture or enter your twitter url, however since we figured it’d be nice we’d give you the option of doing so as Kate knows a lot of you Twitter, this might be a way to distinguish yourselves.
4. Submissions are taken in on a first come first serve basis.
5. We don’t have a limit yet as to how many messages we’ll be taking in, so at the moment we’ll take in any and all unless they’re really inappropriate.
6. No videos please.
7. You may submit more than one picture so please include the other links to the pictures in the Message box.

Just a reminder that y’all now have only 3 days to submit your birthday messages to Kate for her birthday on October 13th. Any submissions submitted after October 10th will not be included in the book so be sure to get your messages in before then. Spaces are limiting and we’re currently sending out confirmations to all submissions that we receive so be sure to e-mail us if you don’t get a confirmation within 24 hours.

This week is going to be a busy week for us so we might be taking a small hiatus from here on until next week. As usual we’ll still try to update the site, but updates won’t be as consistent or made daily.

You all have just over a month left to send in your birthday messages to Kate for October 13. This month will be rolling by really fast and we might not have enough time to compile all the messages if they aren’t sent in in the very near future, so be sure to make your submissions as soon as possible to guarantee a spot. As we mentioned before, we don’t have limits as to how many people are allowed to participate nor do we have limits as to how long your message can be. However, since September is going to be a busy month for the both of us, we suggest you send in your submissions in as early as possible to be sure that your message was included.
